
Feliciano López Díaz-Guerra is a professional Spanish tennis player from the ATP Tour. He was born in Toledo and currently lives in the Spanish capital Madrid. López achieved the world record number 12 single in his career in March 2015. In 2005, he was the first Spanish man to reach the quarter-finals at Wimbledon since 1972, when Manuel Orantes reached the semi-finals. He repeated this feat in 2008 and 2011. López beat Tim Henman in the second round at Wimbledon 2007 in Henman's last match at Wimbledon. Over the course of his career, he played most of the five assists 6–6 sets after the tiebreaker, his fifth longest set being 16–14 at the 2009 Australian Open against Gilles Müller. He reached the quarter-finals of the US Open in 2015 and won his first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros 2016 with Marc López winning the men's doubles.
